Frank-Bill-HR2267-Markup Gambling proponents are cautiously optimistic at the news that HR 2267, the Barney Frank-sponsored, Annie Duke-endorsed Internet Gambling Regulation, Consumer Protection, and Enforcement Act is scheduled to be ‘marked up’ this coming Tuesday, July 27. Amazing to think that anything connected to Congress could move with such swiftness, but then again, it’s summertime, and they’re probably eager to get at those mint juleps that are waiting for them out on the porch.
