Bermuda PM rues missed gaming opportunity

Bermuda-triangleIt may have received plenty of flak from the Labour Party but one of the most satisfying things about the creation of the coalition government in the UK is that party politics were put to one side for the greater good of national interest. At least that’s how they sold it to us. In Bermuda, though, there is no such broad-mindedness and it has cost them millions in foreign dollar. The Premier Dr Ewart Brown says that the island has lost out on a huge opportunity by MPs flatly dismissing the Green Paper on gaming for political point-scoring purposes. No plus sides to that, unless you consider that missing the boat will at least keep them away from the Triangle for a while longer. Read more.
