Annie-Duke-Testify-CongressPoker pro Annie Duke, last seen saving the world at Ante Up For Africa, is slated to appear before the House Financial Services Committee on Wednesday as one of the five expert witnesses backing up Rep. Barney Frank’s pro-gambling bill, HR 2267. We don’t have official word on just what Annie’s planning on saying to ranking committee member Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-AL) — a man named after a Roman party god, but in reality, a serious killjoy who has compared gambling sites with drug dealers – but we sure hope it includes the word ‘doodyhead.’ Read more.
