UK’s National Lottery denies Camelot

Camelot’s proposal to generate additional revenue through commercial services has been denied by the UK’s National Lottery Commission. The commission has taken the position that allowing Camelot to offer commercial services through mobile phone top ups and electronic bill payments and the like, may breach European or competition laws.
