Why is it that online gambling always gets tarred with the same filthy brush that pornography does? It’s because they’re vices of the devil of course.

Indonesia has become the latest country to proclaim that it will be filtering certain sites including online gambling, violence, and pornography. The plan, which is largely ‘unenforceable,’ would simply firewall foreign sites and completely shut down all Indonesian based sites. The wheels were cranked up on this plan based on a request from the Indonesian Child Protection Commission, who recommended the Anti-Pornography Law of 2008 be strengthened, which of course includes online gambling. It’s only a suggestion, but if parents prevent their children from getting hold of the material then the ban wouldn’t be needed. Parental controls obviously haven’t made it yet. Read more.
