La Dominicana dominate Home Run Derby

Things can’t get any better for Big Papi right now. Not only has his season rebounded with a 1.211 OPS and Player of the Month award in May, he triumphed in this year’s Home Run Derby last night at Angels Stadium. Ortiz beat out fellow Dominican Hanley Ramirez, who decided he couldn’t really be arsed with it all once he got to the final round. Favourite Miguel Cabrera made the second round but looked far from the MAN. Papi was his grand-dadi. Read more.
