UFC 116 on eve of 100th anniversary of “Fight of the Century”

As the world prepares to watch two behemoths clash in the Octagon at UFC 116, it’s worth noting that the fight is taking place one day before the 100th anniversary of the epic tilt between Jack Johnson and Jim Jeffries, so dramatically chronicled in Ken Burns’ Unforgivable Blackness documentary on PBS. So will people still be talking about Brock Lesnar’s fight with Shane Carwin a century from now? Odds are against it, but like they say, that’s why they play the games (or fight the fights).
