No doubt the Edmonton Oilers just got a shitload better with their first pick in the NHL Draft of Taylor Hall, though given their piss poor past seasons, that isn’t saying much. But Hall is a proven winner, a clutch goal scorer and already a fan favorite. The obvious trend for the lowly Oilers in this year’s draft was all about size. They didn’t pick a kid smaller than 6’2 and picking Hall over a future stud centerman like Tyler Seguin, goes to show that to the Oilers, size does matter. Read more.
