Sportsbet tells Aussie pols to stop ignoring reality

Paddy Power’s Australian subsidiary Sportsbet thinks the Australian government is fooling itself by choosing to ignore the findings of its own Productivity Commission. Sportsbet’s commercial director Cormac Barry feels that by rejecting the Commission’s recommendation to expand the scope of permissible online gambling, the government is ignoring the reality that international companies are already offering such services to the Australian market.
