Islamic fundamentalists: 1. Minority rights: 0. Someone should open an International House of Pancakes franchise near Malaysia’s legislature, because the folks who work there sure like waffling. After months of confusion over whether or not Ascot Sports had or hadn’t been issued a government license to offer sports betting to non-Muslim punters, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Raza has officially scuttled the plan. We suggest the PM hire a personal trainer to teach him how to deadlift, because it’s clear that his spine needs stiffening. Read more.
