Who wants to be a divorced Millionaire?
There’s got to be odds up on how much money Tiger Woods will end up shelling out to his former wife. If I had to guess, I’d say in the ballpark of $600 million, but in no way can that amount be justified.
If there’s one drawback of being a superstar athlete with iconic status and oodles of dough, it’s that you may end up getting married and worse yet, getting divorced and shelling out millions to your ex wife. It’s happening so frequently they may want to make a game show about it, “who wants to be the next divorced millionaire?” First up, Elin Woods.
Rumors have been swirling around Tiger Woods since his whole cheating fiasco about his anticipated divorce with wife Elin. Much of the talk hasn’t been about who gets the kids, like that isn’t important, but the talk has been about the amount of money Elin would get. Numbers have ranged anywhere from $300 million to $750 million. And there are those that just don’t think she deserves that much, and you can’t blame them. Read more.
I’m not sure how much time Elin spent helping Tiger improve his putting or his up and down game but that sure is a shitload of money for hanging out for a few years bathing in the lap of luxury and spitting out a few kids. Albeit, the negative publicity and scandal could be a huge factor, but I bet a prenuptial agreement is sounding mighty good to a lot of rich and powerful men right about now, as if it didn’t before?
Tiger may be joining the long list of powerful men who got taken to the cleaners by their wives. Given the current divorce rate and the size of these settlements, I’m starting to wish I went to law school and became a divorce lawyers. Here are some of the more ridiculous divorce settlements I’ve come across.

One of the richest men in the world Rupert Murdoch, a big time media mogul, divorced his wife of 32 years Anna and got married 17 days later. The price tag was hefty, Anna walked away with $1.7 billion, $110 million of it in cash!
Well, they say behind every powerful man there’s a strong woman, I guess when that powerful man gets behind some side piece of ass, usually the strong woman behind him walks away with most of his shit. All is fair in love and divorce it seems.
