What’s happening in the Technology space lately?

It has been awhile since I have done a post on the site, we have been busy tweaking the Tablog and drinking Redbulls. This week there were a number of cool releases in the Technology space that I would like to share with you.

- The newest version of Tweetdeck launched and there is direct Google Buzz and Foursquare integration. I’m personally not a huge fan of Foursquare myself (though I have tried the service) as I feel it leaves very little room to lead a private life. We obviously use Google Buzz here at CalvinAyre.com so if you want to join in on the super charged gmail chat interface (lol), please do!

- Hootsuite 5 launched as well. With tons of new features.

- An interesting new service was launched by Yahoo, called Boomerang. Taken from their website:

“boomerang is a piece of javascript that you add to your web pages, where it measures the performance of your website from your end user’s point of view. It has the ability to send this data back to your server for further analysis. With boomerang, you find out exactly how fast your users think your site is.

boomerang is opensource and released under the BSD license, and we have a whole bunch of documentation about it.”

Boomerang API is downloadable here.
Boomerang’s github page is here.

- Tomorrow is the last day of the 2010 Semantic Technology Conference. (follow along on Twitter).

- The iPhone 4 launched today amongst frustration and excitement from fans.

- Eightfold Logic launched Linker, a social marketplace for link building and SEO professionals.

Those are my favorite updates from recently in the Technology space.

I have a question for our readers, would you like to see a Technology category added to the site? Follow me on Twitter if you would like to discuss further or you can contact any of the writers using the Ask or Tell form!

    Nice article brother!

Yah! I'm using Tweetdeck v0.34.3, now i can integrate my tweet with google buzz, facebook, myspace & twitter, (damn foursquare). But how does tweetdeck respond to twitter.com limiting its API temporarily? It took me to do some manual tweaking overtime to outcome the delays of incoming tweets, the thing is, it has been caused by such a high periodic of errors in twitter.com due to high loads.
