A late-night session of the House-Senate conference committee working to get the ‘Wall Street reform bill’ ready for President Obama’s signature has banned the trading of derivatives based on movie box office results. Very pleased are the Motion Picture Association of America, while very pissed are Cantor Fitzgerald and Veriana (whose Trend Exchange was already putting Matt Dillon’s future up for bids).
