As previously noted on this site, this hasn’t exactly been the most exciting World Cup thus far. After all, when the biggest stories coming out of a sporting event have to do with plastic trumpets and FIFA’s hysterical overreaction to a bunch of girls in orange skirts, you’re in trouble. But that marketing stunt by that Dutch brewery accomplished its goal — it got people talking about the company — plus it gives us a chance to use this mind-boggling list of the six dumbest attempts at viral marketing ever conducted.
