888 roll Real Dice with £12.2m social networking move

The social networking gaming space is the place to be for all sorts of reasons; keeping up with friends, playing online games, stalking ex-girlfriends… And 888 have cottoned on to this by buying a number of assets from Real Dice Inc. For an initial fee of £12.2m the online gaming giant has plundered games development studio Mytopia, Facebook game Bingo Island 2 and a poker app. Unconfirmed reports have it that new app Relentless Sex Pest 3 will be released in the spring.
