Can World Series of Boxing revive a sport on the ropes?

With a lack of marquee-level stars (except you, Manny!) and new generations of fight fans flocking instead to mixed martial arts, the sport of boxing has seen better days. Thus comes the gimmicks, er, innovations, such as the World Series of Boxing, which will see ‘sweet scientists’ from three continents (North America, Asia and Europe) come to blows in a series of elimination matches culminating in a final showdown in Macau. Hard to tell which will draw more betting action — the fights themselves, or the over/under on how long this organization continues to be a going concern. Read more.
