Greetings from absinthe filled Prague, my friends! As the Head On-site Reporter and International Socialite for CalvinAyre.com, the team decided to send me to Prague a little early so I could do some on the ground “nightlife research” just for you.  Forget the internet searches and recommendations from others, I’m here to report on the real thing baby!  Ok fine, so the British Airways cabin crew strike may have had a little something to do with my premature arrival, but I might as well embrace the situation and make myself useful.  “Useful” as in embarking upon a blackjack, strip bar and vodka soda filled excursion all around Prague in a hummer- you know, just the usual gamblin’ drinkin’ & carryin’ on.

While we’re on the subject of gamblin’ drinkin’ & carryin’ on, I’m very proud to announce that we have officially launched the CalvinAyre.com Alpha version! In order to celebrate, the official launch party sponsored by BodogAffiliate.com and iGB Magazine will be taking place right here in Prague on May 25th, just in time to kick off of the iGaming SUPER Show, and also Calvin’s actual birthday…now isn’t that a coincidence. This “must attend” event is fully booked, so as much as I love the harassment and sudden contact from people I have not heard from in years, there is not much I can do for those without a ticket.

If you are unable to secure a ticket to the CalvinAyre.com party this time around, don’t do anything crazy like cancel your trip (believe me, I’ve heard it!) because there is a whole list of parties that have been organized for everyone attending the iGaming SUPER Show, and seeing as this conference is forecasted to be the biggest one of the year, we just might throw an even bigger rager next year to which everyone is welcome.

Also, Prague is known for it’s nice strip bars full of beautiful Czech women who actually have real boobs, so you really don’t want to miss this!  Trust me, I saw it over and over again with my own eyes, and even though I had a about 23 cocktails in me at the time, I do have a pretty good memory of the strip bars in town and some nice recommendations for you as a result:

Strip Bars:
Darling Cabaret- This is one of Prague’s more “famous” strip bars with plenty of space and plenty of girls.  They have several big white limos with “Darling Cabaret” painted across the side which drive around town looking for people to take to the strip club for free.
Atlas Cabaret- Atlas is right across the street from Darling, and probably owned by the same people. What I remember most from this place the “Lesbian show”- it ain’t Pelufo’s in San Jose, Costa Rica, but its not a bad second place.  What I also remember is that it is NOT ok to film outside this establishment- meaning, my camera guy was chased away by big black bouncers, so beware!
Hot Peppers- With a tag line of, “the gate to hell”, you can only imagine what goes on in here.  You may have to pay a cover upon entry, but there is a free drink included (beer only though).
Goldfingers- So you say it’s your birthday? Well, even if it’s not, I suggest you say it is here…you’ll be in for quite a treat- I witnessed the little performance and it was pretty impressive. Goldfingers is located in the Ambassador hotel and there is a mediocre casino upstairs, a nice late night combination for drunken conference birthday boy attendees.

Cab drivers (or hummer drivers!) should know where all these places are located, but be sure to specify if you want a strip bar or a sex bar, because trust me, they are two different things.  While researching, I ended up at a sex bar by accident- we’re talking an unmarked door with a doorbell, a guard behind the door, and a FULL blown brothel inside with naked women and sex menus.  Sex menus!  Ya, I didn’t stay there very long.

For those who enjoy more G rated entertainment, I’ve also got several restaurants and clubs to recommend:

Michelin Rated Restaurants:
Allegro in the Four Seasons
Gordon Ramsey’s Maze in the Hilton Prague Old Town

Trendy Restaurant:
Celeste Restaurant & Bar, located on the top floor of the famous Dancing House

Clubs:
Mecca- very exclusive, very Ibiza!
Duplex- not as exclusive as Mecca, but a fun club and the venue is really nice.

Oh and one last thing, and please consider yourself warned: the DAF award is in full effect all week long and if I catch you really drunk, guess what that means? You’re fair game so beware ;)

    @ Christoph, Brother, the iGaming Supershow that was held in Prague invites most of the Executives from the iGaming Industry! They want to roll it out to the best of the best! Also just to inform that you update your blog and include this “EXCLUSIVE bars” and places that can accommodate them.
