According to numbers released by the New South Wales Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research, Aussies are more likely to be victims of a crime while attending a house of worship than the supposedly immoral ‘adult entertainment’ venues, such as strip joints, massage parlors or gaming houses. And for those of you who think the numbers refer strictly to those dens of iniquity known as Catholic churches, the study defines ‘house of worship’ as including synagogues, mosques and monasteries.
