This morning I saw Bo DaDogg in a dream and he looked glorious.
I awoke to the reality that sad times and heavy hearts have fallen upon us all here at CalvinAyre.com. April 25th, 2010 will forever be remembered as the day one of the good ones was taken from us. Yes, he licked his own balls and yes he would occasionally sniff your crotch, but his head was always in the right place…and so was his heart. After losing his battle with leukemia, Bo DaDogg has left us all for that doggy house up in heaven. Let it be said he wasn’t just Calvin’s best friend, he was our best friend too. We could always count on Bo to say the wrong thing at the right time, and to bark it like it is. He lived his life seven years at a time and he did it all the while – doggystyle.
Working with Bo was a fucking blast. Of course, he never actually wrote any of his own work – due to his lack of opposable thumbs and general laziness, so he just dictated his message… pausing only to scratch himself and lick a ball or two. You see, Bo never took ‘heel’ for an answer, he took life by the collar, he urinated on ignorance and bore his teeth on any impediments to social freedoms.
No doubt there’s sadness across the world in all the bitches who adored Bo. And believe me, there were many, many bitches. Let us all take comfort in knowing that Bo is burying his bone in a better place. Let our hearts no longer dwell in darkness and sorrow, but let this be the celebration of one of the great dogs of our generation and let us always remember our four-legged companion for the joy and the smiles he brought to this world. Bo was cremated and Calvin will have his ashes spread out to sea in a quiet ceremony between a man and his dog.
I speak for Calvin and everyone at CalvinAyre.com when I say Bo will be dearly missed and always remembered in our hearts. I know exactly what Bo would say during this difficult time…
“Quit your whingin’ an’ get ona slapper wit a little Posh n Becks.”
He always talked shit like that.
No idea what it means, but I know I’ll miss it.
