Manitoba chiefs consider online gaming move

polar_bears_manitobaLast week the Manitoba Indian tribe admitted that joining the Canadian provinces’ online gambling scheme was “on the agenda“. Well, since then the big chiefs have scratched their chins, smoked their pipes, made deep humming noises and decided that this agenda will be consulted on Thursday. “I think we’d be open to learning more about it to see what our position is once we have that information,” said AMC Grand Chief Ron Evans, confirming a growing trend even south of the border that has seen native Indian tribes become more receptive to the notion of online gambling.
