Atlantic City casinos fined for not being omniscient

DeityTwo Atlantic City casinos have each been fined $10G for failing to prevent a man who’d voluntarily barred himself from gambling at their establishments. Hard to think the casinos were really all that much to blame in this scenario, considering that the man utilized 15 separate identities in an attempt to circumvent the scheme, and the casinos managed to catch 13 of them. I mean, how God-like are casino bosses expected to be? Are they equally to blame for not predicting the recent earthquake in Haiti, or Iceland’s unpronounceable exploding mountaintop? Read more.
