In my initial response to my nephew Will’s decision to post pornographic images of myself on his blog, I confessed to not having actually visited the site, a decision based largely on the notion that not patronizing his blog was somehow negating what Will was trying to accomplish. However, curiosity inevitably got the best of me, and now, having seen the images, I have something I want to get off my chest — and off the internet.
My nephew claims to have stolen images off my laptop. That much is true. The images in question were taken in Viet Nam during the summer of 2006, while I was filming some stuff for Season 1 of the Bodog Fight TV series. So that is indeed my face in the images he posted on his blog. The rest of it… not so much.
This was the photo that gave the game away and helped me recognize the other shots as part of the same set. As you can see, in reality, I was studying playback of a scene we’d just shot, not ‘auditioning’ extras, which goes a long way toward explaining the relative detachment of the camera operator…
In this photo, I’m actually studying a script poolside… And really, unless the fridge and stove behind the girl were emitting UV rays, why the fuck would I be wearing sunglasses in somebody’s kitchen?
And this is actually me working my abs while resting on an exercise ball, not exercising my balls while resting on a sofa…
So there you have it. Tempest in a teapot. But there are three very important lessons to be learned from this episode.
#1: Don’t believe everything you see.
#2: If you really want to see my Johnson, buy me a few shots of Jagermeister — then just fuckin’ ask.
and #3…
God. I love April Fools Day. Remember these classics? The fight I had with the Hail Mary Sportsbook. Or the time I lost Bodog to Virgin’s Richard Branson in a hand of poker? My “Space Casino“. And of course the one everyone knew was a fake…my reality show about finding “Calvin’s Heir.”
Same time next year, okay?
