New Jersey to hold sports betting hearings on Monday

FootballMoneyNew Jersey punters will want to head down to the Atlantic City Convention Center on Monday to voice their opinions on proposed legislation that would permit sports betting at New Jersey racetracks and casinos. The bill was approved by the state Senate Economic Growth Committee in February and, assuming it gets through Monday’s hearing without incident, will be sent to the full Senate for final approval. However, it all means nothing unless New Jersey can convince a court to strike down the federal ban against sports betting, but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it, right? Read more.
