Full Tilt Poker is to air a new television show on Channel 4 called ‘The Poker Lounge’ which will star leading FTP professional players such as Phil Ivey, Gus Hansen and Chris ‘Jesus’ Ferguson – and you or me. The idea is that one loose cannon, who has qualified online, will get to take on the top dogs for the chance to win big bucks. Not a bad idea in truth, but the problem with these shows is that we will all know who has won by the time they have aired. Think someone needs to start up a Poker TV channel with live shows – and dancing girls, come to think of it. You listening, Calvin? Read more.
