Japan hates gambling, loves gambling tourists

GodzillaSlotsWhile Japan has almost as many pachinko parlors as it does sushi shops, it doesn’t have traditional casinos. That may all be about to change if certain investors get their way, but legislators may take the approach adopted recently in Singapore, namely, welcoming the tourists with open arms but discouraging the locals from crossing the threshold. I dunno… It might annoy the average Japanese Joe no end if Godzilla is welcome where they are not. Read more.
