Mystery operator in Canadian Poker Tour takeover talks

canadian_poker_tourAn unnamed online poker website is in discussions to co-brand and possibly even complete a buyout of the Canadian Poker Tour, according to the current owners, HeadsUp Entertainment International. The Canadian online poker market is believed to be second only in the world to the UK and with HeadsUp boasting a market reach of 40,000,000 poker players in North America it’s little wonder someone’s after a piece of the pie.
