Gemma Arterton has a lot of good things going for her. She’s a Bond girl, she gave a stirring performance in Tess of the D’Urbervilles and she’s promoting gambling. Well played, Gemma. Apparently she owes the National Lottery a huge debt for helping get her acting career off the ground. “The Globe is lottery-funded and my drama school, Rada, was lottery-funded,” she says.
