Contrary to the views put forward by Racing For Change’s Project Director Rod Street, the former jockey Richard Dunwoody believes that horseracing’s relationship with the betting industry does lend itself to innovation. “Companies such as Bodog.com and Paddy Power roll out all manner of interesting betting angles, designed to put the sport nearer the front page,” says the three-time National Hunt champion, while suggesting various other ways to improve the popularity of the sport of kings.
