They are not big on youth in Italy, unless you’re talking about game show girls or the female ‘guests’ at Silvio Berlusconi’s house parties. I mean, have you seen the average age of AC Milan, the silver foxes that pass off as Italian TV hosts or even the cracks in some of their buildings? So although Atul Bali is to resign his post as president of GTECH’s online division GTECH G2 to make way for Paolo Personeni, who has been Sales Director at Lottomatica Italy, he’s not really going anywhere. First he’s going to stick around while Personeni gets his feet under the table, then he’s going to take up a new position at GTECH’s parent company Lottomatica Group. The move, which is not yet official, is a classic case of out with the old, in with the new… in with the old. Read more.
