Right, so apparently Bryan’s PM was a joke…jockstraps and pith helmets were most certainly not the dress code. Anyway, I always enjoy spending time with the Meister in person, and of course, my “BodogBecky” alternate persona always enjoys spending time on the Casinomeister forum. Seeing as Bryan Bailey and I go way back, I would never miss the annual “Meister Meet Up” which took place at London’s Atlas Pub on Tuesday night, right after the finish of the ICEi exhibition hall hours. CWC kindly sponsored the event and Bryan Bailey was there himself greeting Casinomeister forum posters, team CWC, affiliates, and old industry friends at the door…but only if they knew the password, “Sufferin’ Succotash”. Yes, I’m serious!
Once inside the pub, the place was packed, steamy, welcoming, and the drinks were flowing. I spent some QT at the bar with CWC’s Jonathan F, recipient of the Casinomeister “Best Casino Group 2009″ award might I add, Online Casino City‘s Debbee Silverman, and Bryan himself. Later in the night I did manage to float around the party to mix and mingle with some new faces, one of which was Phil Laak, clearly a very nice surprise for all.
Another nice surprise was Bryan’s announcement that the Casinomeister community collectively raised just under 25,000 USD for Haiti Relief- what AMAZING news, and coming straight from the Calvin Ayre Foundation, this is one of the largest chunks of change that has been matched yet. Thank you Bryan for your Haiti relief efforts and for making this fabulous networking event possible. For some nice pictures from the night, please take a trip to the Meister Meet up picture gallery at CalvinAyre.com…beware of the odd jockstrap though. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
