UK bans ad in which gambling solves mom’s problems

StanLaurelAn online ad campaign for Prime Scratchcards in which a young single mother celebrated the notion that her £46,799 winnings meant a better future for her son has been banned by Britain’s Advertising Standards Authority, presumably to make room for more of those commercials in which fat people are told they can lose weight without diet or exercise.
