US midwest gets first ever WPT championship event
Lawrenceburg, Indiana will be the site of the inaugural Hollywood Poker Open, with a $10,000 buy-in Main Event on March 20-24, making it the first WPT championship event held in the Midwest. FYI, the Hollywood in this case refers to the host site Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg, but when the state’s biggest celebrity resident is Jared from the Subway commercials, wouldn’t ‘Hoosierwood’ be a little less misleading?
