NBA wagering back on in Ontario?

NBAProLineBack in December, NBA commissioner David Stern stunned a Sports Illustrated reporter when he stated that he viewed gambling on NBA games as a ‘huge opportunity’. Now, another crack in the league’s traditional anti-gambling stance will see betting on NBA games returning to Ontario’s provincial sports wager offering, Pro-Line. This must really piss off British Columbia’s NBA fans, as they didn’t reacquire the right to bet on games until the Grizzlies fled Vancouver for Memphis in 2001. Still, considering the Grizzlies’ overall winning percentage in Vancouver was a woeful .220, fans weren’t that sorry to see them go. Read more.
