According to this article, the UK’s online gaming industry is in financial decline due to the government’s punitive tax system. The small fiscal breaks gaming companies are requesting would see them regain some £500m in income over the next five years – but Labour won’t listen.

As it turns out neither will the Tories, who have said that they won’t change anything if they get into power this year. So while the likes of Canada’s gaming sector continues to increase at 20% thanks to tax breaks the UK’s will continue to decline at 8.5% a year. Read more.
