While I may have been in Miami to do several interviews and make a cameo at the SBR mini-bash, I think we all know the real reason why I was in town…to socialize with Jenny Woo and some other old igaming friends. Gambling 911 did a nice article on our night out together, so I figure it’s only fair if I do one too…

This night out in Miami was one that certainly must go down in history. Chris Costigan, founder of a gambling news and odds authority site, invited a group of us to his place for cocktails and treated everyone to dinner before we hit the town for some classic SoBe clubbing. In addition to myself, our crew consisted of Chris, Jenny Woo, Gambling911.com Senior International Correspondent, TJ, CalvinAyre.com contributor, and my dear friend Chantel, the latest and greatest Miami Socialite. (Stay tuned for adventures with Chantel during the upcoming Super Bowl in February, but that’s another story for another time).

Infamous Ant Table

Cocktails at Chris Costigan was a pretty cool experience considering his very modern condo is immaculate, sharply decorated, and decked out with framed pics of himself with all sorts of celebs. Oh, right- and he’s got tons of booze and an ant table. After watching Sting in concert à la Chris’s new movie projector, he treated the entire group for dinner at Prima Pasta, and then we dragged him to the club as a thank you.

We hit Rok Bar, a popular Miami nightclub right in SoBe, and it was, well, rockin’. Lucky for us, TJ knew the bouncers outside, Chantel knew everyone inside, and Jenny is hot, so we got in with no problems at all. Thanks to TJ, we had our own bottle and table for the night so we could clearly see the models dancing on the bar and the entire crowd lusting after the models dancing on the bar. The music in this place was unbelievable, the crowd was young and good looking, and the space was small and intimate. Amazing place, and I had the time of my life…and apparently Chris did too.

I feel as if I have been “a victim” in many of Chris Costigan articles about nights out, parties, and igaming socializing in general, especially when there are pictures involved. This is why I do not feel bad for one second telling the entire world that Chris was HAMMERED at Rok Bar, and if it were up to me, he’d be getting seven DAF awards just for that one night. He stayed out later than Jenny and I! Swear to god! If you don’t believe me, I have pictorial evidence…
