Microgaming encouraging more casual players

Poker news, Microgaming to bring in more fishOn January 5th, Microgaming will begin offering licensees within their poker network increased incentives for bringing in fish. The Microsoft Poker Network will do this by changing their rake calculation methods. Instead of splitting the pots between the total number of players, they’ll switch to the weighted method. This method calculates rake per room proportionately, according to the amount contributed by each player. This idea was first presented publicly by Bodog Poker Network VP Jonas Odman at the BAC in Budapest. Read more…
