Gambling news, Jay Cohen looking at more jail timeJay Cohen is a name anyone involved in internet sportsbetting is probably familiar with. Only the second person in the US ever convicted of running an internet sportsbook, Cohen was fined $5,000 and sentenced to 21 months in federal prison. In 2004 he was released after serving 17 months on the condition that he wouldn’t work in internet gaming again. However, since then he’s returned to his former profession and admitted as much on the CNBC special on “CNBC Investigates: The Big Business of Illegal Gambling.” Federal authorities are now deciding whether they will charge Cohen again.  Read more…
