Pokerbusiness, Betfair Poker ad stirs up controversy in the UKA Betfair Poker ad featuring twenty-year-old poker pro Annette Obrestad has been pulled at the demand of the ASA. The ad features the very young looking Obrestad and the headline “Online experience is measured in games, not years. Join the new breed. Annette_15”.

As soon as the ad was released a complaint was filed with the ASA on the grounds that it may encourage minors to try online gaming. Betfair claims the ad was only e-mailed out to people over 18 and that they employ technical measures to keep minors from playing, but it wasn’t enough.
