DiCaprio In Costa Rican Online Gambling Flick
According to Wicked Chops Poker, Hollywood mega super star Leonardo DiCaprio is preparing to star in a new movie about the world of Costa-Rican online gambling casinos.
It will be interesting to see what role DiCaprio plays in this flick, everyone knows he can act his ass off. DiCaprio is one of those dynamic actor cats who can convincingly play a hardcore role like in the Departed or the sappy lover role in the movie that gives most men flashbacks of that three hour date with a crying girlfriend, the Titanic…Hey, at least you probably got laid afterwards…
First thing that comes to mind when I hear the words Costa Rica are those sultry Bodog Girls…If you don’t know…Bang this.

The next thing that comes to mind is online gambling. For over the past decade Costa Rica has become a haven for online gambling entrepreneurs. The online gambling business and Costa Rica have formed a symbiotic relationship, creating thousands of jobs for the people, while providing online gambling organizations with software development, web design, telecommunications and a home base for their operations…The sexy girls and the perfect weather are an added bonus. The Costa Rican government has some balls too. When certain authorities that shall remain nameless, attempted to curtail their online activities, Costa Rica filed an arbitration application with the World Trade Organization and held fast.
The movie if it gets made, should be a good one. DiCaprio can make almost anything pretty entertaining. With the crazy, out of this world shit that goes on in Costa Rica, the scenery, and the lifestyle all put together in an action packed dramatic package; definitely could look great on the big screen. Costa Rica is kind of like Vegas, what happens in Costa Rica usually stays there. There are plenty of stories and real life occurrences that could be played out in this movie. Contrary to popular belief, the overhyped Hollywood style police raid on Calvin Ayre’s mansion is not one of them. See here for the real scoop on that.
While that raid would have made for a good movie if had went down with flash bombs and swat propelling through the windows, reality is a little less sensational. Reality is more like a major fuck up by the police, who end up eating top notch food inside a kick ass mansion while Calvin throws a sexy party at a hotel. I guess if the truth sold the National Enquirer would be out of business, and what the hell would we need photoshop for?
There have been some great movies about gambling and poker, namely, The Cooler, Rounders, and a Staff Writer’s personal fav, Two For The Money…Rene Russo sure does play a sexy cougar. She should be in the TV series Cougartown, then I’d watch it. Actually, check that, probably still wouldn’t watch it, but safe bet she’d be good in it.
