Sportingbet may not make market moves in France

With uncertainty still dogging the deregularization of gambling in France, Sportingbet is considering pulling out of the French market.

Only a month ago the bookmaker announced its full intention to launch in France but chief executive Andrew McIver has since admitted there has been, what our cross-chanel cousins term, a volte-face.

“We are now not sure what we’re not sure what we’re going to do,” he told EGR Magazine. “The situation has changed so many times that we still can’t be sure what the best course for us to take is.”
